Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to sustain electro-mechanical equipment across Front of Line, End of Line, and Test Assembly areas.

You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, dismantle and repair equipment per blueprints, and rebuild systems using diagnostics. A minimum of 5 years in semiconductors is preferred; engineering degree required, PM tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Experience sustaining electro-mechanical equipment, jigs, tooling and logistics.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electro-mechanical equipment, jigs, toolings and logistics at Front of Line, End of Line or Test Assembly.
• Performs electrical, electronic or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose faults; performs PM as assigned.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment per layouts, blueprints or manuals.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to check or rebuild manufacturing equipment.
• Executes equipment modifications and projects as directed by the manufacturing engineer or supervisor.

Job Description:

• Responsible in sustaining and maintenance of electro mechanical equipments, jigs, toolings and logistics at Front of Line, End of Line (Back End) or Test assembly.
• Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs electrical, electronics or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Perform PM as assigned.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications and projects as directed by manufacturing engineer, supervisor or manager.
