Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to sustain and maintain electro-mechanical equipment across Front of Line, End of Line, or Test assembly areas.

You will work on jigs, tooling, and logistics to keep production running. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, dismantling and repairing equipment, performing checkouts with diagnostic tools, and supporting modifications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment to identify problems in non-functioning systems and perform PM as assigned.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints or manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications and projects as directed by manufacturing engineer, supervisor or manager.

Job Description

Responsible in sustaining and maintenance of electro mechanical equipments, jigs, toolings and logistics at Front of Line, End of Line (Back End) or Test assembly.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs electrical, electronics or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Perform PM as assigned.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications and projects as directed by manufacturing engineer, supervisor or manager.

Work Experience

At least 5 yrs of experience in

Semiconductor company, assigned either in Front of Line or End of Line (Back End) or Test Assembly

Male, not more than 40 yrs old
