Med-Metrix seeks a Supervisor, Inpatient Coding Auditing - Academy to lead the inpatient coding team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant coding delivery. You will oversee productivity, QA collaboration, and training alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.

You will coach coders, monitor TAT and SLAs, drive process improvements, support automation, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in health information management or related field.
• CCS/CIC certification.
• 3 years inpatient DRG supervisory experience.
• Strong DRG validation, POA reporting, and UHDDS knowledge.
• Workflow management and SLA adherence.
• Technical knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG grouping.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and performance management.
• KPI tracking, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem solving, sound judgment, and results-driven.
• Integrity, dependability, urgency, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Gracious and welcoming for customer service interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise inpatient coding team to meet daily/weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
• Monitor work queues, TAT, and SLA adherence.
• Allocate workloads based on coder capacity and account priorities; manage escalations.
• Ensure ICD-10-CM/PCS, UHDDS, and client requirements compliance.
• Track coder performance metrics and provide timely feedback.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with QA to address error trends and remediation plans.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce rework.
• Support automation initiatives and train coders on updated workflows.
• Maintain dashboards and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Coordinate with client teams for updates, reporting, and compliance.
• Participate in leadership meetings to discuss performance and initiatives.
• Ensure PHI privacy and HIPAA policy compliance.
• Stay updated on coding guideline changes and cascade updates.
