Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. in Davao City is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead the department, drive efficiency, and uphold quality across manufacturing operations.

You will oversee daily production, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring technicians, ensuring safety, and collaborating with planning, QA, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in injection moulding management or a similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment and processes.
• Experience leading teams, recruiting, training, and staff development.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of quality control, production scheduling, and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and production software.
• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Certification in maintenance management or equivalent qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department, including scheduling and production planning.

About the role

Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead and oversee our injection molding operations. This is a full-time position based in Davao City, Davao Del Sur. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing the entire injection molding department, ensuring optimal production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's production objectives and contributing to our competitive advantage in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and production planning
• Manage and supervise injection molding equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and adherence to operational standards
• Monitor production output, quality control, and waste reduction to achieve departmental targets and key performance indicators
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan
• Train, develop, and mentor injection molding technicians and operators, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of injection molding machinery to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility
• Collaborate with production planning, quality assurance, and procurement teams to optimize workflows and material management
• Maintain detailed records of production data, maintenance logs, and equipment performance metrics
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend equipment upgrades or procedural improvements

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience in injection moulding management or a similar maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding equipment, processes, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Proven experience in leading teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development
• Demonstrated expertise in preventive maintenance planning and equipment life-cycle management
• Sound understanding of quality control principles, production scheduling, and lean manufacturing methodologies
• Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and production software
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance in all operations
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field (preferred)
• Certification in maintenance management or equivalent professional qualification (advantageous)
