Job summary

Tamiya Philippines Inc. is seeking an Injection Molding Changeover Lead to improve productivity and efficiency of mold changeover operations in our manufacturing facility.

You will drive process control, troubleshooting, and improvement activities to reduce defects and downtime. The role requires strong leadership of Mold Changeover and Process Setting teams (20+ staff), hands-on planning and execution of changeovers, and the ability to coordinate with Mold Repair and other departments to

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or equivalent with relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in Injection Molding Changeover in production facilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with molding processes and changeover activities.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Improve productivity and efficiency of mold changeover operations
• Reduce defect rate generated during the injection molding process through effective process control, troubleshooting, and improvement activities
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop Mold Changeover and Process Setting teams to strengthen technical capability and operational performance
• Manage team activities ensuring stable, efficient, and safe production operations
• Evaluate mold conditions, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions to enhance mold performance and reliability
• Collaborate closely with the Mold Repair Department to monitor mold conditions, coordinate repair activities, and implement mold improvement initiatives
