Job summary

MicroSourcing in Parañaque City, Philippines is seeking an Information Security Analyst for on-site work with a shifting schedule. You will monitor security controls, manage SIEM, DLP, and vulnerability processes, and lead end-to-end incident response with vendors and internal teams.

You will automate workflows with scripting, generate management reports, and contribute to risk reduction. The role requires 3+ years in SecOps and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Security Operations (SecOps) role in a medium to large org.
• Hands-on with SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management and PIM/PAM.
• End-to-end incident response and investigations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for mgmt and technical staff.
• History of trusted work with minimal supervision.

Your Role

As an Information Security Analyst, you will:

• Monitor and manage technical security controls, including Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, SIEM, and Web proxies.
• Investigate network and endpoint compromises by leading end-to-end incident response and forensic handling.
• Automate manual workflows and intelligence gathering through scripting to enhance threat hunting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to resolution by collaborating with vendor support and internal stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports for management by collating and analyzing security data to track system health and risk.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role within a medium to large organization.
• Proven hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, and Privileged Identity & Access Management (PIM/PAM).
• Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end incident response and investigations of system compromises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional reporting to management and technical staff.
• Proven history of working in a position of trust with the ability to function under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
• Experience in proactive threat hunting and identifying potential network vulnerabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in managing Web Proxies and Email Security Gateways.
• Familiarity with producing high-level operational metrics and KPIs for executive review.
