Job summary

Your Role:

• As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will:
  Monitor security systems and networks to detect, analyze, and respond to potential threats and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities to identify security gaps.
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures across systems and infrastructure.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis with appropriate remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to strengthen overall security posture and compliance.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or SOC-related roles
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or similar)
• Knowledge of common security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS controls)

Preferred skills/expertise

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent)
• Experience with incident response and threat hunting
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP security services)
• Understanding of vulnerability management tools and processes
• Experience working in SOC environments or 24/7 security operations
