Job summary

MicroSourcing in Parañaque City is seeking an Information Security Analyst to monitor security controls, investigate incidents, and drive automation. You will lead end-to-end investigations, collaborate with vendors, and deliver management-ready security insights.

The role requires 3+ years in SecOps, hands-on SIEM/DLP/Vulnerability Mgmt, and strong communication. Onsite work with shifting schedules, offering robust healthcare, bonuses, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a SecOps role in a medium/large org.
• Hands-on with SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Mgmt and PIM/PAM.
• End-to-end incident response and investigations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for management/technical staff.
• Proven history of trusted work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage technical security controls (Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, SIEM, Web proxies).
• Lead end-to-end incident response and forensic handling of compromises.
• Automate workflows and intelligence gathering to improve threat hunting.
• Troubleshoot complex security issues with vendor support and stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports by analyzing security data for system health and risk.

Your Role

As an Information Security Analyst, you will:

• Monitor and manage technical security controls, including Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, SIEM, and Web proxies.
• Investigate network and endpoint compromises by leading end-to-end incident response and forensic handling.
• Automate manual workflows and intelligence gathering through scripting to enhance threat hunting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to resolution by collaborating with vendor support and internal stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports for management by collating and analyzing security data to track system health and risk.

What You Need

• At least 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role within a medium to large organization.
• Proven hands‑on experience with SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, and Privileged Identity & Access Management (PIM/PAM).
• Demonstrated ability to handle end‑to‑end incident response and investigations of system compromises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional reporting to management and technical staff.
• Proven history of working in a position of trust with the ability to function under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
• Experience in proactive threat hunting and identifying potential network vulnerabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and advanced problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure situations.
• Experience in managing Web Proxies and Email Security Gateways.
• Familiarity with producing high‑level operational metrics and KPIs for executive review.
