Job summary

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is seeking an Information Systems Analyst II to supervise the Beneficiary Data Management Division's reporting and analysis section. You will ensure BDMS support, monitor CARS/BUS activities, and assist in policy implementations under senior supervision.

The role emphasizes data extraction, ETL, SQL and STATA scripting, with responsibilities to improve operational processes and generate actionable reports for management decisions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
• Training: 4 hours of relevant training.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
• Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in MIS/IT/CS/CE, 8+ hours training in data management, 2+ years experience in managing full lifecycle of information systems.

Responsibilities

• Proposes policies, guidelines and system enhancements for BDMS.
• Provides input on policies addressing program challenges and AO 2024-015 compliance.
• Prepares action/work plans and Policy Implementation Plans.
• Prepares and analyzes reports for PDOs and management decisions.
• Monitors system activities for CARS and BUS and assists field offices.
• Supervises BDMD staff and evaluates performance against deliverables.
• Submits BDMS reports with analysis and recommendations.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
