Job summary

Controtek Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect – Technical Pre-Sales to act as the technical and solution authority across the sales cycle, translating customer requirements into complete, viable IT/OT solutions for SCADA, Energy Management, MES, IIoT, and digitalization.

You will lead architecture design, proposals, demos, and client presentations, and collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams to ensure deliverability and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Automation, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
• 3–7 years in industrial automation, SCADA, systems integration, IT/OT, digitalization, technical consulting, or technical pre-sales
• Demonstrated experience developing technical solutions and proposals
• Working knowledge of SCADA/HMI/PLC/RTU, industrial networking, IIoT/edge computing, energy or asset management systems, MES, databases/dashboards/analytics, IT/OT integration, cloud/on-prem architectures, industrial cybersecurity, or electrical/instrumentation systems
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and presentation skills
• Comfortable communicating with engineers, operations staff, and executives alike
• Able to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Willingness to travel for site visits as required

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery, site surveys, and technical assessments to identify gaps and opportunities
• Design end-to-end IT/OT solution architectures — hardware, software, networking, integration, and dashboards
• Lead technical and commercial proposal development, including BOMs, specifications, and cost estimates
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, and RFP/RFQ/tender responses
• Support Business Growth Managers through the full opportunity lifecycle, assessing feasibility, risk, and strategy
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams to ensure solutions are deliverable
• Build reusable reference architectures and maintain technical standards
• Keep opportunity and pipeline data current in the CRM
