Job summary

NEWLIX MFG. INC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive efficiency and workforce capability at our high-volume electronics final assembly and packaging facility in the Philippines.

The role focuses on evaluating operators, balancing lines, and designing strategies to unlock peak performance through the human element and processes. You will conduct time-and-motion studies, develop a Skill Matrix with HR and Supervisors, implement SOPs with Lean/Kaizen, and report findings to the Plant Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification or Ergonomics/Human Factors
• 2–4 years of active IE/Lean experience on a high-volume manufacturing floor.
• Experience in electronics assembly or high-velocity packaging is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operators and balance lines to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Conduct time-and-motion studies and redesign steps for efficiency.
• Develop Operator Skill Matrix with HR and Supervisors for cross-training.
• Design ergonomic workstations and standardized methods (SOPs).
• Provide data-driven reports and root-cause analyses to Plant Manager.
