Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking an Industrial Engineer (Mfg Engr-ops) to support new product development for LAVs 3.0. Onsite role focusing on layout design, process improvement, and Lean manufacturing within the Collins Aerospace Operations team.

The role demands 3-5 years in manufacturing, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and strong fundamentals in process flow and value stream optimization. Join a global leader delivering advanced aerospace solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Layout designs and execution based on SME’s Process Design, bottleneck analysis, and improvements; process line balancing, usage rate and labor hours setup; Lean manufacturing thru efficiency.
Reviews current layout, space requirements, production processes, and material flows; identifies opportunities for improvement.
Develops, designs, and recommends efficient layout & flow of people, materials, manufacturing, and equipment.
Implements and executes layout improvement projects.
Performs other industrial engineering functions such as motion and time studies, line balancing, and resource planning; conducts takt time analysis.
Drives standardization of processes via Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets.
Eliminates waste through continuous improvement projects.
Interacts with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to implement projects.
Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site.
