Job summary

Knowles Electronics Philippines seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development, new product introduction, and manufacturing improvements in a high-volume environment. The role supports innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.

The position requires a strong background in advanced manufacturing engineering, SPC/DOE, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical, Materials Science, Industrial)
• Minimum 3 years in process/production engineering in high-volume manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing engineering and assembly processes
• Proficient in SPC, DOE, and data-driven analysis
• Experience in training engineers and production personnel
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems and capital cost justification

Responsibilities

• Lead introduction of new and redesigned products, including feasibility studies to improve quality, performance and cost
• Develop and standardize manufacturing procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Provide technical support through process analysis, documentation, defect analysis and continuous improvement
• Drive process and product design improvements, including equipment enhancements
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE methodologies in optimization
• Improve process capability (Cpk) and manufacturing efficiency while meeting targets
• Propose and implement new processes, equipment and mechanization solutions
• Work with subcontractors for implementing manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product transfers to mass production
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to support manufacturing innovation
• Support global initiatives including overseas travel for transfers and support
