Job summary

You will design and implement efficient systems for production, material handling, and inventory, conduct time and motion studies, and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Industrial Engineer is a plus depending on company requirements.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; entry-level may be considered.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, especially); CAD/ERP or simulation software a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement efficient systems for production, material handling, and inventory.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize labor and equipment utilization.
• Develop process layouts, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Monitor and analyze production data (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes or equipment purchases.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in capacity planning and production scheduling.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for management review.
