Job summary

New World Makati Hotel is seeking an Income Auditor to ensure accuracy of daily revenue through reconciliation and audits. The role involves reviewing daily transactions from all operating departments and issuing audit findings for corrective action, ensuring compliance with internal controls.

You will validate OTA commissions, investigate discrepancies, and prepare regular revenue and audit reports for management, supporting month-end closing and audits.

Responsibilities

• Check, reconcile and validate OTA commissions (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia).
• Investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies, variances and irregular transactions.
• Review discounts, rebates, refunds, paid outs and complimentary transactions for proper authorization.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Reservations, F&B and Finance teams regarding revenue-related issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue and audit reports for management.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and revenue reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analyses.
• Conduct surprise audits in the Front Office and F&B outlets.

Job Description

Prepare and review Daily Revenue Reconciliation Reports (DRR).

Audit and reconcile daily revenue transactions from all operating departments. Prepare and distribute the Income Audit Package on a daily and monthly basis. Review, document, and release audit findings to concerned departments for corrective action.

Monitor compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures. Check, reconcile, and validate Online Travel Agency (OTA) commissions (e.g., Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia). Investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies, variances, and irregular transactions.

Review discounts, rebates, refunds, paid outs and complimentary transactions for proper authorization. Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Finance teams regarding revenue-related issues. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and audit reports for management.

Assist with month-end closing activities and revenue reporting requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analyses. Recommend improvements to processes and controls to prevent revenue leakage and strengthen compliance. Conduct surprise audits in the Front Office and F&B outlets.
