Job summary

Filinvest Hotel Timberland Highlands Resort in Rizal seeks an Income Auditor under the supervision of the Chief Accountant to audit daily resort income, verify revenue records, and oversee night audits.

You will review F&B, Front Office, and related cashiers, prepare journals, and ensure compliance with event orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 2–3 years experience as Income Audit Officer in a large hotel (>=200 rooms).
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Amadeus PMS and Infrasys POS.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain that all daily revenues have been recorded and collected.
• Audit daily Rooms, F&B and Other Operating Departments revenue summaries.
• Verify revenue against guest folios, vouchers, and letters of authorization.
• Audit cash summary and analyze over/shortage, review cashier reports.
• Prepare earnings journals from managers reports and cash journals.
• Review Paid outs and rebates; prepare rebate/adjustment journals.
• Produce daily operational reports for Finance Controller.
• Investigate late charges and skippers; forward to Credit Manager.
• Ensure banquet revenue is recorded per event order.
• Review House Use, Complimentary Rooms, F&B, and related authorizations.

Filinvest Hotel: TIMBERLAND HIGHLANDS RESORT

In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality Inc. and Timberland Highlands Resort,Rizal, and under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, the Income Auditor is responsible for the audit of all daily resort income, and is supervised by the Chief Accountant and the Financial Controller. Major duties include verifying records of revenue‐producing outlets as well as the night audits. Other duties involve checking for the records of F&B cashiers, Front Office Reception and Night Auditor.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ascertain that all daily revenues have been received by the resort and properly recorded.
2. Audit daily Rooms, Food & Beverage and Other Operating Departments Revenue summaries and their supporting transaction reports of the Night Audit Process.
3. Check daily revenue against supporting documents such as guest folio, vouchers, and guarantee letters / authorization letters.
4. Audit the daily cash summary prepared by the General Cashier by filling up the clearance column next to general cashier figures. Analyze the cash over/shortage, and review the general cashier and bank reports.
5. Prepare the earnings journal which is derived from the managers report, F&B revenue reports, and cash receipt journal from the general cashier report.
6. Review Paid outs and Rebate voucher for reasonableness, proper approval, and supporting documents then prepare rebate/adjustment journal.
7. Prepare daily report of operations for Financial Controllers review and signature.
8. Investigate late charges and skippers. All details should be forwarded to Credit manager for further action.
9. Ensure that all days banquet revenue has been recorded in agreement with the event order.
10. Review all House Use, Complimentary Rooms and F&B, Entertainment and Officers check that they are signed and authorized.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or any related course.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Income Audit Officer in a large hotel chain with at least 200 guest rooms.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), though not required.
• Proficient in Amadeus PMS and Infrasys POS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
• Willingness to work in San Mateo, Rizal.
