Job summary

Sumisetsu Philippines Inc. is seeking an Import Coordinator to manage the company’s importation requirements and coordinate with suppliers, brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely release of shipments to customs.

The role also handles broker and forwarder billing, processes invoices for local suppliers, and performs GRPO encoding in SAP, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs or related field; OJT acceptable.
• At least 2 years’ experience in customs or import coordination.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Organized and meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Handles importation requirements of the company.
• Coordinates with suppliers and brokers for shipments and release to customs.
• Manages broker and forwarder billing.
• Handles some invoices of local suppliers.
• Assigned in GRPO encoding in SAP.
