Job summary

Verde Carbon Capture Inc. is seeking a highly organized IMPEX Staff to manage import/export of lab equipment and scientific supplies.

You will ensure compliance with Philippine customs regulations, coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers, and facilitate timely shipment movement to support research and operations. The role requires 1–2 years in import/export or logistics, proficiency with Excel, and strong organizational and communication skills to handle multiple shipments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in Import & Export, Customs, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, freight forwarding, and customs regulations.
• Experience handling laboratory equipment, scientific supplies, or technical imports is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Able to manage multiple shipments while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor import and export shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and bills of lading.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, shipping lines, airlines, suppliers, and agencies.
• Ensure compliance with BOC regulations and government requirements.
• Process permits, licenses, and other documentary requirements.
• Coordinate importation of laboratory equipment and related materials.
• Track shipment schedules and provide updates to departments.
• Verify shipment documents for accuracy before customs processing.
• Monitor freight charges, duties, taxes, and logistics-related expenses.
• Maintain organized records of import/export transactions.
• Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and documentation discrepancies.
• Work with Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure timely material availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
