Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple OSP/FTTx projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and implement delivery solutions based on client requirements and specs.
• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and resource plans.
• Manage scope, changes, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish governance, reporting, and escalation with internal teams, contractors, and customers.
• Coordinate delivery, ensuring scope, quality, and schedule alignment with customer needs.
• Identify risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and company policies.
• Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-controls.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Implementation Manager (PM/IM) to lead the successful delivery of multiple OSP (Outside Plant) and FTTx (Fiber-to-the-X) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, and deliverables from project initiation through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple OSP/FTTx projects from planning and design through survey, installation, testing, and project completion.
• Develop and implement OSP/FTTx delivery solutions based on client requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements, and monitor project progress against agreed timelines.
• Manage project scope, changes, deliverables, and milestones to ensure successful and timely completion.
• Establish project governance, communication, reporting, and escalation mechanisms with internal teams, contractors, and customers.
• Coordinate and oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables meet agreed scope, quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
• Identify project risks and issues, develop appropriate mitigation plans, and proactively manage potential impacts to project delivery.
• Manage project quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and company policies.
• Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Optical/Fiber Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in OSP/FTTx project management, preferably within telecommunications or fiber-optic network deployment.
• Experience in bid management and construction management is highly preferred.
• PMP certification and/or other relevant industry certifications is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of OSP, FTTx, optical fiber deployment, and telecommunications project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex technical projects simultaneously.
• Strong project planning, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
