Job summary

ShelterBox Philippines is seeking a Humanitarian Response Coordinator for an 11-month fixed-term contract in Cebu. 40 hours/week with some travel to disaster sites and HQ; salary PhP65,000–70,000 monthly.

The role focuses on preparedness, response coordination, and partnership management to deliver shelter interventions across the Philippines. The successful candidate will work closely with the Programme Manager, coordinate assessments, and ensure programmes meet donor and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experienced humanitarian professional with knowledge of emergency response and disaster management in the Philippines.
• Proven ability to coordinate emergency responses and work with local partners and government agencies.
• Strong organisational, relationship-building and travel capabilities in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Preparedness & humanitarian coordination: monitor potential disaster events and needs across the Philippines.
• Coordinate emergency shelter assessments and deploy to disaster-affected areas when required.
• Programme delivery & partner coordination: work with partners to ensure activities are on time and within budget.
• Monitoring, evaluation, learning & compliance: support reporting and donor compliance activities.
