The role leads strategic and operational efforts to strengthen SCP’s capacity to respond to crises, collaborating with field offices, partners, and donors to deliver effective humanitarian programming.

The position emphasizes capacity building, risk monitoring, advocacy, and inter-agency coordination, with safeguarding a core principle for protecting children in emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of humanitarian experience with NGO or similar.

Aufgaben

• Monitor risks and ensure timely, quality delivery of humanitarian programming.
• Collaborate with units and field offices to strengthen delivery through partners and cash programming.
• Deliver capacity-building activities for SCP staff and partners.
• Engage in humanitarian advocacy, media and donor engagement; ensure quality communications.
• Represent SCP in inter-agency coordination mechanisms, including education cluster coordination.
