Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Manila is seeking a Band 1 Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and enhance production systems across Digital Products. You will monitor, support, and upgrade infrastructure, applying automation and best practices to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role collaborates with Product, Platform, and Software Engineering teams, drives observability, defines SLAs/SLOs, and leads incident response efforts.

Qualifications

• Automation scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell; SQL queries for DB management.
• Strong IT operations background; Linux/Unix and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiar with networks and databases; incident response experience.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes (SLA/SLO/SLI).
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps; ability to translate tech to business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system alerts and incidents; ensure SLAs/SLOs/SLIs are met or exceeded.
• Perform root cause analysis and create postmortems to improve stability.
• Automate repetitive tasks; implement monitoring and logging; drive process improvements.
• Provide guidance to Product, Platform, and Software Engineering teams on supportability and efficiency.
• Administer platform infrastructure and oversee change management procedures.
• Oversee vendor management and contribute to product roadmaps.
