Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Taguig City is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Managerial role within Warehousing IT Operations. You will lead incident response, ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems, and collaborate with DevOps, software engineers, and stakeholders to improve resilience.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, post-incident reviews, and best-practice incident management across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SAP.
• Experience with configuration management and IaC (e.g., Terraform).
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python, C#) and automation scripting.
• Networking fundamentals including load balancing and DNS management.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized apps.
• Experience with databases and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of security best practices and secure system design.
• Experience with Warehousing Management Systems (RTCIS, PrIME) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and user impact.
• Implement incident management processes with clear communication and documentation.
• Perform root cause analyses and drive preventive measures for continuous improvement.
• Ensure high system availability via robust monitoring and automated responses.
• Optimize architecture and configurations for performance, scalability and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build resilient systems using best practices.
• Stay updated on SRE trends, mentor teammates, and promote upskilling.
• Engage with users/customers to understand needs and ensure reliable services.
• Configure and manage monitoring tools with actionable alerts and continuous visibility.
