Job summary

Broadridge in Manila seeks a Platform Site Reliability Engineer to ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of products and services. You will design, develop, and deploy solutions with cross-functional teams to boost uptime and performance.

You will oversee initiatives, mentor team members, drive NFR implementations, and collaborate across the Enterprise Platform to keep standard platforms best-in-class. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting production applications (SRE/DevOps).
• Experience implementing SLOs/SLIs and reliable monitoring.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Observability and alerting tools (Datadog, Splunk).
• Automation using Python/Java/Shell, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, SQL, Ansible.
• Knowledge of AWS and middleware like databases, web servers, MQ, Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement SRE best practices, including SLOs/SLIs and monitoring.
• Build automation tools to improve reliability of platforms.
• Perform capacity planning and system design for growth.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide root cause analyses.
• Participate in incident calls during outages or emergencies.
• Collaborate with developers to define reliability requirements.
• Conduct post-mortems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Use data-driven decisions to prevent incidents.
• Support product teams with tools and practices for stability and extensibility.
• Drive NFR standard implementations across new product development.
• Oversee vulnerabilities and end-of-life governance.
