Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 2–4 years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Platform Development: design, configure, and customize core ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
• End-to-End Custom Feature Development: build client-side interfaces with Vue.js and server-side apps with Java 17+/Spring Boot or Python 3.10+/Flask, or Groovy.
• Cross-Platform API Design & Integration: design and consume RESTful or GraphQL endpoints to connect ServiceNow with backend systems.
• UI/UX Design & Prototyping: create intuitive interfaces and prototypes using design tools like Figma.
• System Analysis & Troubleshooting: investigate production bugs, analyze performance bottlenecks, and trace data anomalies across platforms.
• Jira & Agile Documentation: write clear Jira tickets with acceptance criteria and technical subtasks.
• Code Quality & Testing: implement unit tests with JUnit, Vitest, or Jest to maximize coverage.
• Software Design & Secure Coding: apply SOLID/DRY, validate inputs, manage secrets, follow OWASP standards.
• Database Management: query and design with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Collaborative Code Management: work with monorepos and standardized workflows to ensure disruption-free releases.
• Agile Collaboration: participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
