Job summary

Glass Lewis in Manila, Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Engineer to join our Technology team. The role is full-time and hybrid, with in-person work three days a week at the Manila office.

You will design and develop fast, scalable web interfaces using Vue and client-side libraries, participate in the full SDLC, and contribute to enterprise-grade applications. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of software development experience, strong collaboration and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in software development.
• Experience with enterprise-level SDLC processes.
• Ability to design and develop intuitive user interfaces using Vue and other client-side libraries.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Grooming, Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).
• Design, develop and maintain the UX for various applications in an Agile environment.
• Help write new design patterns, improve and adapt existing design component integration.
• Ensure implementation is globalized.
• Contribute to the architecture, design and coding of our next generation web-based enterprise solutions.
• Implement UI component design focused on re-usability / scalability / extensibility.
• Collaborate with fellow developers, designers and analysts to solve problems.
• Assist in the deployment of releases and patches into the production environment.
• Be available out-of-business hours for production support on a rotational basis.
• Managing teams and mentoring team members and enabling them to progress in their careers.
