Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level ServiceNow & Fullstack Developer to bridge enterprise automation with custom app development. You will build, optimize, and support ServiceNow instances and fullstack services using Groovy, Java, Python, JavaScript, or Vue.js.

You will work in an Agile/Scrum setting, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance code quality, scalability, and system reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide API, Service Portal widgets, integration hooks).
• Strong backend and frontend engineering processes with Java/Spring Boot, Python/Flask, and Vue.js values.
• Analytical thinking with ability to troubleshoot across full stack and platforms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Understanding of Agile, Jira, and Confluence for ticketing and planning.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux command line, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules; develop workflows.
• Build end-to-end features using Vue.js on the frontend and Java/Python on the backend.
• Design and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs to connect ServiceNow with backend systems.
• Create UI/UX wireframes and prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
• Implement state management using Pinia or Vuex and write modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Investigate production issues, analyze performance, and trace distributed data anomalies.
• Document technical requirements and create Jira tickets with clear sub-tasks.
• Write automated unit tests to ensure code quality and stability.
