Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a hybrid Transition Project Manager / Transition Accountant to coordinate end-to-end handovers for master-planned communities. You will lead contracts, align internal teams, and personally manage the accounting for transitions, including trial balances, receivables, and month-end close.

You will act as the primary contact for the management company, ensuring accurate opening balances and confidential handling of information. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, administration, accounting, or a related field.
• Solid accounting knowledge with accrual accounting experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Great written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transition project management and coordinate internal and external teams.
• Coordinate and track timelines, tasks, and deadlines for smooth handovers.
• Import trial balances, homeowner data, and accounts receivable balances.
• Reconcile cash and run month-end close for transitioning communities.
• Transfer utilities to autopay and manage subsidy billing distributions.
• Prepare regular transition-status reports for Leadership Team.
• Organize and distribute standardized transition collateral.
