Prime System Solutions seeks a System and Network Engineer (Level II) to oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, with hands-on work in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and firewall technologies. This role supports on-premises and cloud platforms and requires strong virtualization experience.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
• 3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
• Certification in Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain client network infrastructures (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless).
• Manage server environments (on-premises and cloud) using Windows Server and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments; manage users and policies.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access.
• Monitor security, perform vulnerability scans, and assist with disaster recovery planning.
• Provide Level 1-2 support; use remote tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Administer VMware and Azure cloud services; support scalable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams; use ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow for tickets; document configurations.
• Proactively monitor performance and generate reports on uptime and security.
