Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close and consolidation across global entities. The role collaborates with Segment Controllership, Treasury, Legal and HR, handling GL consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and Hyperion mappings.

The candidate will help with debt, hedging, cash reconciliations, and SEC support, while ensuring SOX controls and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Consolidation experience at a large multinational company preferred.
• Experience with Oracle/SAP ERP, Hyperion and/or OneStream preferred.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close and consolidation process, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals/reserves, debt, allocations, insurance, and equity.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analytics.
• Drive process improvements to shorten the close cycle using tech and SOPs.
• Support internal controls assessments and maintain control design/effectiveness.
• Ensure regulatory and accounting policy compliance.
• Provide SEC reporting support and assist external auditors during reviews and audits.
