Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Sr. Accountant to support monthly close and consolidation in a hybrid work environment. You will partner with Segment Controllership, Treasury, Legal and HR to ensure accurate financial reporting and intercompany eliminations.

The role involves US GAAP knowledge, SOX controls, and experience with SAP/Oracle ERP and OneStream. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for delivering timely insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with SOX, internal controls, reconciliations, journal entries and month-end close.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP and OneStream preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Consolidations and Intercompany accounting ownership.
• Treasury accounting including debt, interest, hedging, cash reconciliations and dividends.
• US Ledger accounting for activities of US and regional businesses.
• Support monthly close and consolidation including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases and accruals.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement analytics.
• Drive process improvements to shorten the monthly close cycle.
• Support internal controls design and operating effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.
• Provide SEC reporting support and schedules as needed.
• Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit.

Work Model: You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location, with flexibility to work remotely.

Position Summary

Position Summary: Functionally reporting to the Segment Finance Director, the Sr. Accountant will support the monthly accounting close and consolidation process in partnership and collaboration with members of the broader accounting team and other stakeholders throughout the Company. This position will maintain close working relationships with Segment Controllership and Finance teams and various other departments throughout the organization, including Treasury, Legal and HR. The Sr. Accountant is a full-time role.

Job Details: Hybrid: at least 4x RTO in a month - might change depending on team meetings, company gatherings, etc. Schedule: 3:00PM - 12:00AM **with flexibility for night-shift coverage as needed(especially during month-end closing)

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger Consolidations and Intercompany Accounting– ownership of the final consolidation and intercompany elimination process, Onestream loads, mapping, etc
• Treasury Accounting – debt and interest, hedging, cash reconciliations, dividends
• US Ledger Accounting – shared accounting for certain activities of US and other region based businesses
• Support the monthly close and consolidation process, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals / reserves, debt, allocations, insurance, and equity
• Prepare certain journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analytics
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures
• Support internal control assessments and establish and maintain effective design and operating effectiveness of internal controls of assigned processes
• Implements processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies.
• Provides SEC Reporting support as needed – rollforwards, support schedules
• Coordinate with and support external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit

Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA preferred At least 5 years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience, preferably in a Shared Services, manufacturing, or multinational environment. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP and OneStream is strongly preferred. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and actively drives standardization, automation, and process efficiencies and can embrace Regal Rexnord’s 80/20 principle. Leverages analytical skills to effectively organize and translate data into insights for decision making. Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and direct work to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
