Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability of production systems and to design automation for deployment and monitoring. The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, cloud platforms, and scripting to keep systems reliable and scalable.

You'll collaborate with development teams, implement observability with logging and metrics, and participate in on-call processes. Hybrid work setup with competitive rewards is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, Go).

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems and services.
• Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system design, resilience, and operability.
• Implement observability solutions including logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
