Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend layers. You will build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate them with responsive user interfaces.

You will develop and manage relational and NoSQL databases to support application functionality and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Hands-on experience in backend development using languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Git-based workflows.

Your Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend layers.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

3+ years of experience in full stack development

Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)

Hands-on experience in backend development using languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP

Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Git-based workflows

Preferred Skills/expertise

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Understanding of microservices architecture and API security best practices

Experience with automated testing frameworks for frontend and backend

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
