Job summary

RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team in the Philippines. You will manage accurate and timely payroll for a portfolio of clients, including Philippine-based and global accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

The role requires 2 years payroll processing experience in a shared services or multi-client setup, strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, proficiency in Google Sheets and payroll software, and excellent communication and discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in payroll processing in a shared services or multi-client setup.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements; global payroll a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and payroll software applications.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll on client timelines and SOPs.
• Review reconciliation reports and coordinate statutory reports with Finance.
• Supervise payroll disbursements and distribute pay slips accurately.
• Prepare annual tax computations and BIR Form 2316 for resigned staff.
• Manage submission of monthly SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth contributions.
• Handle payroll inquiries from employees or clients.
• Coordinate end-to-end payroll implementation with clients.
• Identify process improvements to improve payroll accuracy.
• Perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned.
