Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing and Management: Manage the complete payroll cycle, including collecting and verifying timesheets, calculating wages, processing deductions (taxes, benefits), and issuing payments via checks or direct deposits
• Compliance and Legal Adherence: Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national tax laws, labor regulations, and internal policies; stay informed about deadlines and legal updates
• Client Consultation and Support: Guide clients on payroll best practices, resolve payroll issues, and assist employees with pay and benefits inquiries
• System Optimization and Reporting: Implement and enhance payroll software, improve payroll service delivery, identify automation opportunities, and prepare payroll reports for internal and external use
