Job summary

Genfinity in Makati City is seeking a Payroll Compliance Analyst to ensure payroll operations align with Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation, EBAs, Modern Awards, and superannuation requirements. The role focuses on auditing, risk management, data analysis, and process improvements for accurate payroll outcomes.

You will work with Payroll Operations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and IT to address compliance needs, interpret legislative changes, and enhance governance controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in payroll compliance, governance, audit, or operations in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, EBAs, Modern Awards, and superannuation

Responsibilities

• Conduct payroll compliance testing and audits across payroll and time systems.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and update the Payroll Compliance Risk Register.
• Support audits with reports, data extracts, and documentation; monitor legislative changes.
• Ensure processes and configurations stay compliant with legislative and industrial requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and governance controls.
• Review payroll procedures and documentation to support efficiency and improvement.
• Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and compliance risks; ensure data integrity.
• Generate payroll compliance reports and metrics for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and IT to address requirements.
• Provide guidance on payroll legislation, award interpretation, and best practices.
