Job summary

Genfinity in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain records, and produce reports for management. You will ensure compliance with local and regional statutes, EBAs, and enterprise agreements while supporting audits and answering employee inquiries.

The role requires 2–4 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand payroll legislation, EBAs, and awards.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll software.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculations, adjustments, leave administration, and data maintenance.
• Validate payroll information, timesheets, and records for compliance with awards and EBAs.
• Prepare payroll reports, analyze data, and resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and support audits and documentation.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HR, and stakeholders for efficient service delivery.
• Contribute to process improvements, compliance, and professional development.
