Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Quezon, NCR invites a seasoned Manager to join the Processing – Middle Office team to support post-trade lifecycle activities for the Hong Kong desk.

The role encompasses rollout of new products, migration/remigration of funds, trade postings and reconciliations, and maker-checker duties, with focus on strong controls and regulatory compliance. English proficiency and financial services expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to financial services.
• 3-5 years of funds administration experience.
• Complete understanding of Trade Life Cycle.
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets and financial instruments; accounting principles.
• Excellent knowledge in Investment Operations with understanding of the end-to-end Fund Accounting model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to re-prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of internal controls, audit points and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support rollout of new products/activities within Investment Operations and ensure successful implementation.
• Participate in migration/re-migration of funds and adhere to project timelines.
• Review Postings/Reconciliation Packs/Trades Upload.
• Review upstream shells' deliverables for accuracy of breaks.
• Perform maker and checker activities as required.
• Raise exceptions with appropriate teams.
