Job summary

Manulife in Manila is seeking a meticulous Derivatives Operations Analyst to ensure accurate trade data, validate trades, and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle. You will work with global teams to resolve breaks and ensure timely settlements.

This role requires 2–3 years in banking or finance, strong MS Office skills, and a willingness to work in a hybrid onsite/offsite setup including night shifts if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or related field with 2–3 years’ experience.
• Operational experience in reconciliations, settlements, collateral management and suspense.
• Strong English communication and regulatory awareness.
• Willingness to work hybrid onsite and from home.

Responsibilities

• Validate and confirm trade details between internal systems and counterparty recaps.
• Collaborate with front, middle, and back office teams to resolve breaks and suspense items.
• Monitor and report trade validation metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades across instruments.
• Perform pre- and post-settlement investigations and dispute resolution.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting and audits.
• Maintain process documentation and test improvements.
• Coordinate with Accounting to resolve suspense breaks during reconciliation.
• Assist the business unit with supporting documentation for audits.
