Job summary

GrowSari is expanding its data analytics team to support strategic decision-making for its growing network of sari-sari stores in the Philippines. The Data Analyst will build semantic layers, model tables, and metric definitions over transactional databases to power reporting, visualization, and AI copilots.

The role requires 2-3 years' experience in analytics, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Python/Jupyter notebooks. Hybrid work is available with onsite days required 2-3x per week.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a business analytics and insights role.
• Proficient at writing SQL queries against very large and diverse datasets.
• Adept in reproducible research and analyses using Python and Jupyter notebooks.
• Learned to use AI tools to speed up workflows and improve query quality.
• Able to work independently and solve open-ended problems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to define business questions against data.
• Build semantic layer, model tables, and metrics definitions for reporting.
• Provide data expertise to stakeholders in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Source and integrate data from new and existing sources with data engineering.
• Help improve long-term data analytics capabilities of GrowSari.
