Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Data Scientist to convert operational, commercial, financial, and customer data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, analyze profitability and efficiency, and develop forecasting and segmentation models.

You will collaborate across Ops, Finance, Sales, and IT, ensuring data quality, reproducible analysis, and clear executive communication. Hybrid work with night shifts is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, data science or decision support.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for analysis and modeling.
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to clean, validate, and reconcile imperfect datasets and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable insights to improve route density, pricing, service reliability, and customer retention.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI reporting for leadership and operations.
• Analyze route profitability, stop density, drive time, and pricing realization.
• Build forecasting, segmentation, optimization, and anomaly-detection models.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Compliance, and IT to translate questions into analytical solutions.
• Create reproducible datasets, SQL queries, data quality checks, and version-controlled code.
• Present findings in clear business language with recommendations.
