Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Data Scientist in the Philippines to transform diverse data into actionable insights that improve route density, pricing, and service reliability. You will integrate data from routing, dispatch, CRM, billing, and more, develop dashboards and KPI reporting, and build forecasting and anomaly-detection models.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 3+ years of analytics experience, strong SQL, Python or R, and proficiency with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, data science, or decision support.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, data manipulation, and modeling.
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to clean, validate, and reconcile imperfect operational datasets and communicate findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills and ability to collaborate during US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable insights to improve route density, pricing, and service quality.
• Integrate and validate data from routing, dispatch, CRM, billing, and other systems.
• Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI reporting for leadership and operational teams.
• Analyze route profitability, stop density, drive time, pricing realization, and operational exceptions.
• Build forecasting, customer segmentation, optimization, and anomaly-detection models.
• Support acquisition integration by mapping legacy datasets and standardizing metrics across entities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Compliance, and IT to translate questions into analytical solutions.
• Create reproducible datasets, SQL queries, data quality checks, documentation, and version-controlled code.
• Present findings and recommendations in clear business language with potential impact and next steps.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
