Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking an AI Developer to join our AI Development team in a hybrid role in Pasig, Philippines. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs and Azure AI Foundry across diverse business domains.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, prompt engineering, API integration, and collaboration with engineers and data teams to deliver enterprise AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in AI/ML application development.
• Hands-on experience building applications with large language models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG patterns, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Cognitive Services.
• Strong skills in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Excellent English communications skills in an Agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, including chat-based agents and RAG pipelines.
• Implement prompt engineering strategies, agent orchestration, and AI safety guardrails for production apps.
• Build and integrate APIs connecting AI models to enterprise data sources and business apps.
• Leverage Semantic Kernel and related frameworks for chatbots and intelligent search tools.
• Collaborate with Full Stack Developers, Data Engineers, and Architects to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy and safety; support fine-tuning and evaluation activities.
• Stay current with evolving AI tech and contribute to the knowledge base.
