Job summary

hammerjack, a Philippines-based company serving Australian clients, seeks an Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end processes across head office and five facilities.

You’ll handle invoicing, payments, payroll, and reporting with accuracy and compliance, maintain supplier and employee records, and support monthly management reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in accounts payable and payroll, including at least 2 years Australian experience.
• Clear understanding of and commitment to company values.
• Proactive, self-starting with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Collaborative mindset with flexibility across finance functions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Invoice Processing: enter invoices into TRAILD and handle manual uploads when required.
• Validate invoices for authenticity and flag non-bonafide items.
• Coordinate approvals with facility managers and ensure correct coding.
• Upload approved invoices from TRAILD to Epicor.
• Prepare and process payments (credit card & EFT) and send remittance advices.
• Respond promptly to supplier and management payment queries.
• Reconcile supplier statements and petty cash accurately.
• Maintain vendor invoices, fixed asset files, and import records monthly.
• Update the Monday work dashboard as required.
• Explain expenditure variances and trends for monthly reports.
