hammerjack Pty Ltd in Angeles, Pampanga is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end AP and hands-on payroll for approximately 150–200 employees at our new site.

Payroll accuracy and compliance are essential, alongside efficient invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations. The role offers hybrid work with 3 days onsite and opportunities to grow within a busy multi-site organisation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience including timesheets, overtime, allowances, leave and deductions.
• Excellent accounts payable processing and end-to-end transaction handling.
• Experience with payroll compliance and related statutory requirements.
• Ability to manage AP ~200 invoices per week and liaise with suppliers.
• Ability to work across multiple sites with hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payroll for 150–200 employees, including timesheets and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll compliance and employee records.
• Process and code ~200 invoices weekly, with approvals and remittances.
• Respond to supplier queries and perform AP reconciliations.
• Update resident fee data in Epicor and management dashboards.
• Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed.

We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer who can confidently manage invoices, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting across a busy multi-site organisation. Hybrid 3x a week onsite in Angeles, Pampanga (11F NTEC 2 Building, Nepo Quad)

Role Overview

As our Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer, you’ll manage end-to-end AP and hands‑on payroll for approximately 150–200 employees at our new site. Payroll accuracy and compliance are critical, alongside efficient invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep Work Visible: Update the Monday work management dashboard as required.

• Explain the Numbers: Prepare clear explanations of expenditure variances against trends and budgets for monthly management reports.

Payroll

• Run Payroll End to End: Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 150–200 employees, including timesheets, overtime, allowances, leave, deductions, and adjustments.

• Maintain Payroll Compliance: Manage employee records, PAYG, Single Touch Payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, parental leave, terminations, and EFT files.

• Support Payroll Operations: Transfer roster data between systems and respond to employee and manager queries.

Accounts Payable

• Manage End-to-End AP: Process approximately 200 invoices per week, including validation, coding, approvals, system uploads, payments, and remittances.

• Maintain AP Controls: Respond to supplier queries, maintain records, and complete supplier statement and petty cash reconciliations.

• Use AP Workflows: Work with automated invoice processing where available; bank and credit card reconciliation experience is preferred.

Data Updates and Administration

• Keep Resident Fees Current: Update fee data in the residents’ fee table in Epicor and on the Monday management board as information is provided.

• Process Resident Charges: Enter resident charges in the accounting system accurately and on time.

• Pitch In Where Needed: Provide other ad hoc administrative support as required.

Skills & Experience

• Critical: Hands‑on payroll experience, including timesheets, overtime, allowances, leave, deductions, and adjustments. Great AP experience who can manage end to end processing.

• Highly desirable: Australian payroll experience. Experience processing payroll for approximately 150–200 employees. Strong end-to‑end AP experience and capacity to manage approximately 200 invoices per week.

• Preferred: Automated invoice workflow and bank or credit card reconciliation experience. Accounting qualification or relevant experience, with strong accuracy, organisation, and communication skills.
