Job summary

GECO Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounting Analyst II in Quezon City to handle general accounting activities, maintain records, and support month-end closing and reporting. You will work with R2R or billing experience and require strong Excel skills, collaborating with Payroll, AR, AP, and other finance teams to ensure accurate financial records.

The role is a 6-month contract with hybrid onsite work three days per week, aiming for accuracy, compliance, and timely financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, R2R, or billing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting entries and GL activities.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, or PeopleSoft is advantageous.
• Experience in a medium to large organization is preferred; multinational experience is a plus.
• Good English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, including GL account maintenance and financial statement preparation and reconciliation.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, payroll-related entries, T&E, and credit card entries.
• Support overheads accounting, including bonus provisions and restructuring expenses.
• Prepare reconciliations and assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Analyze transactions and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, statutory accounts, balance sheets, P&L, and capex schedules.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis support.
• Coordinate with Payroll, AR, AP, Cash, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Document accounting processes and ensure compliance with policies.
