Job summary

A refrigeration services company in Taguig is seeking an Engineering Technician responsible for ensuring continuous ice production and maintaining refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related course, with expertise in industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. Strong analytical and computer skills are preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration system design, maintenance, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous ice production by coordinating with the Production Manager.
• Prepare for and respond to ammonia refrigeration emergencies.
• Monitor meter readings of machines.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance for all machines.
• Maintain good order of water purification, conveyor, and pre-cooling systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assume Engineering Technician duties at Polytrade Sales & Services, Inc. with the following duties:
• Ensures continues ice production by coordinating with Production Manager regarding production requirement.
• Prepare for and respond to ammonia refrigeration system emergencies, maintain updates emergency response and risk management plans.
• Monitors meter readings of machines
• Prepares and implements preventive maintenance for all machines
• Ensures that water purification system, conveyor system, pre-cooling system and ice machine operation are maintained in good order.
• Does necessary actions during shutdown of machines.
• Prepares reports as required by the Engineering Manager.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: College graduate of BS Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or any A/C Refrigeration Technical course
• Experience: Thorough knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration system design, maintenance and operation.
• Special Skills: Preferably computer literate / possess good analytical and computation skills.Highly personable and can adapt to people
