A refrigeration and air-conditioning company in Davao del Sur is seeking a Refrigeration/Aircon Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations by performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs as needed. This role involves monitoring the performance of cold storage and air-conditioning units, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining comprehensive log records. Responsibilities

• Install and commission refrigeration components and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare material requisitions and recommend improvements to refrigeration facilities.
• Conduct regular checklist monitoring of assigned equipment.
• Attend to reefer container requirements and ensure acceptance prior to product loading and discharge.
• Monitor the performance of cold storage, chiller rooms, anterooms, blast freezers, and air-conditioning units.
• Service and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning units as needed.
• Report the operational status and any defects of refrigeration facilities to the immediate superior.
• Ensure generator operation during power outages, monitor fuel levels, and transfer back to main power when restored.
• Record daily activities and maintenance work in the EMD logbook.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
