Job summary

STEVIE BUCKLEY CONSULTANCY INC. in Cebu City is seeking a Refrigeration Operator/Technician to operate, install, service and replace parts for refrigeration systems. You will participate in preventive maintenance, perform minor calibrations, run system checks, and update checklists.

You will troubleshoot systems, manage refrigerant recovery, and assist in audits. The role requires NCII or vocational refrigeration training and at least 1 year of related experience, with basic refrigeration

Responsibilities

• Perform daily PM checks and weekly repairs; submit monitoring checklists.

• Complete daily priority repairs; submit work order summaries; analyze for parts.
• Prepare daily data/checklists for audits (government, supplier, ISO).
• Perform improvement activities as directed by management.

Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the operation, installation, servicing, and replacement of parts for refrigeration systems. Participates in preventive maintenance schedules, performs minor calibrations, executes system checks, updates checklists, troubleshoots systems, and handles refrigerant recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance (PM) Execution: Perform daily preventive check-ups, conduct routine testing of refrigeration components before use, and execute weekly scheduled machine repairs based on priority. Submit daily monitoring checklists highlighting downtimes and quick-fix deficiencies.

• Safety Protocols: Conduct daily line checking on the efficiency of machine safety interlocking devices. Submit daily monitoring safety checklists and immediately report any insufficient or lacking safety devices.

• Work Orders & Repair Execution: Complete daily priority repairs and submit summaries of open and completed work orders. Conduct initial machine analyses for required spare parts and submit Corrective Action Reports (CAR) for operational downtimes.

• Audit & Compliance Preparedness: Maintain daily data and checklists to ensure machine readiness for regular government, supplier, or ISO audits.

• Other Duties: Execute improvement activities and tasks assigned by the Engineering and/or PMD Manager.

Job Specifications

• Education: Graduate of an NCII or Vocational course in Refrigeration.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience as a Refrigeration Operator or Technician.

• Training/Certification: Basic Refrigeration training or license.

• Essential Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledgeable in boiler machinery operations, troubleshooting, and overhauling in large-scale industries.
  • High problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend process improvements.
