Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Engineering Technician – Refrigeration to monitor and maintain industrial refrigeration systems on site in Canlubang, Laguna. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The candidate will interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs, oversee compressor performance, and document maintenance activities in line with plant standards. 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience is required.
• Knowledge of compressors, thermal sensors, electrical diagrams and P&ID interpretation.
• Experience with ammonia or freon systems, HVAC or industrial chillers is a plus.
• Good communication, stress tolerance, and ability to lift at least 20kg.
• Willing to work on site in Canlubang, Laguna.

The Engineering Technician – Refrigeration is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and freon systems, cooling equipment, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and utility equipment.
• Performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis of refrigeration system issues.
• Monitors compressor operations, thermal sensors, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Interprets electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and refrigeration control system drawings.
• Conducts equipment inspections, performance testing, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensures refrigeration systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plant standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related courses.
• Must have 1 year industrial refrigeration experience.
• Knowledgeable in compressors, thermal sensors, electrical diagrams, electronic low-voltage signals, and P&ID interpretation.
• Experience with ammonia systems, freon systems, HVAC systems, or industrial chillers is an advantage.
• Must possess good communication skills, a high level of stress tolerance, and the ability to lift at least 20kg.
• Must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna (Full Onsite).
